About Plazmarket

Plazmarket is an online marketplace for food and household goods, based in Hamburg, Germany. We bring independent shops and customers together, with a focus on wholesome food and Middle Eastern specialities that ordinary ranges tend to leave out.

What a marketplace means

The goods come from independent shops selling in their own name. Plazmarket provides the platform: catalogue, search, checkout, payment and settlement. Who stands behind an offer is shown on every offer page.

Order from several shops and several contracts of sale arise. Your order is therefore shipped and invoiced separately per shop.

Vetted shops

Every shop passes a business verification before going live: documents are submitted and reviewed before a single item can be listed. More under Authenticity guarantee.

Prices you can compare

For goods sold by weight or volume we also state the base price per unit of measure, deposit is a line of its own beside the goods price, and where a price is reduced we name the lowest price of the preceding 30 days. German law requires this — and it is the reason two packs of different sizes can actually be compared here.

In five languages

The marketplace is usable in German, English, Turkish, Persian and Arabic, including right-to-left reading. The legally binding versions of our legal texts are the German ones.
